Photography Prop
Ship's Anchor
Abersoch beach, in North Wales, was the chosen location for a photographic shoot of a rowing boat, tethered to a huge anchor.
The shot was to promote an insurance product.
Solve was briefed to make a lightweight anchor, that looked as if it could make fast an ocean liner, yet easily be carried by hand across the sandy beach.
The resulting photo prop was made out of painted MDF and various plastics. It stands about 1.5 metres high and can be dismantled for transport in a hatchback car.
